1. Data Controller
The data controller is Ethereum Lima, a non-profit community based in Lima, Peru, reachable at hola@ethlima.org.
2. Data We Collect
When you complete the Bootcamp 2026 application form (hosted on Tally.so), we may collect the following personal data:
- Full name
- Email address
- Country and city of residence
- Programming experience level
- Motivation for joining the bootcamp
- Any additional information you voluntarily share
This website (bootcamp.ethlima.org) does not install first-party tracking cookies or use third-party analytics systems that monitor your browsing behavior.
3. Purpose of Processing
We use your data exclusively to:
- Evaluate your Bootcamp 2026 application.
- Notify you of your application outcome.
- Grant access to the virtual campus and Discord upon admission.
- Send communications directly related to the bootcamp program.
We do not use your data for advertising, nor do we sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent provided when submitting the application form, in accordance with Peru's Law N° 29733 — Personal Data Protection Law and its Regulation (D.S. 003-2013-JUS), as well as applicable international standards.
5. Third-Party Transfers
The application form is operated by Tally.so (Tally Software SRL, Belgium). By using that form, your data is processed on Tally's servers under their own terms and privacy policy . We recommend reading them before applying.
We do not share your information with any other third party unless required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for the active period of Bootcamp 2026 (until December 31, 2026) and for up to 2 additional years for ecosystem follow-up. After that period, data is deleted or anonymized.
7. Your Rights (ARCO)
Under Peruvian Law N° 29733, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: request information about the data we hold on you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Cancellation: request deletion of your data.
- Opposition: object to the processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hola@ethlima.org with your name and request. We will respond within 15 business days.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no Internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. Any significant changes will be communicated to admitted participants via email. The current version will always be available on this page.
